ABOUT ME -
Hi, I'm Adedolapo 🤗
My first role in style was picking out my dad’s ties to match his socks -with just enough coordination to include his cufflinks. On casual weekends, I’d help him pair his Kangol-style hats with plaid pants and polo tees.That love led me to styling myself, and my sibling asking my opinion on their style.
Soon I was directing the tailors my mother hired to sew our festive clothes - telling them exactly how I wanted my dresses (usually too short, to her dagger-eyed disapproval 😂).My first professional job as a stylist?
Working with Yemi Alade as she launched her music career.
Then came music videos for Burna Boy, styling alongside my then-boss Veronica Ebie Odeka - styling for Tiwa Savage, 2Baba, backstage at Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, and runway shows all across the country.In my 13 years in style, I’ve worked with public figures, speakers, founders, and everyday powerhouses - refining wardrobes that help them feel effortlessly unmistakable.And yet… I’ve watched brilliant, self-aware women wear clothes that feel like a costume.
Not because they lack style - but because the world taught them to shrink. To blend. To wear only the dictated and accepted outfits.
